At Her Time Therapy, supporting clinicians is just as important as supporting the clients we serve. Therapy work can be deeply meaningful—and also emotionally demanding, ethically complex, and at times isolating. High-quality clinical supervision and consultation provide the structure, reflection, and support clinicians need to grow with confidence and integrity.

I’m Dr. Janice A. Moran, LPC-S, licensed in Texas, Colorado, and Utah, and I’m proud to offer virtual 1-on-1 clinical supervision and consultation, as well as to co-lead a monthly drop-in supervision and consultation group designed specifically for LPCCs and LPC associates.
My supervision style blends clinical precision with compassion, lived experience, and a strong commitment to feminist, trauma-informed, and social justice–oriented care. These values guide every aspect of how I support clinicians working with women and gender-diverse clients.
A Feminist, Trauma-Informed Approach to Clinical Supervision
At Her Time Therapy, we believe effective supervision must acknowledge power, identity, culture, access, and lived experience. Our trauma-informed clinical supervision space is rooted in:
Safety – a nonjudgmental environment where you can bring real questions and uncertainty
Intersectionality – exploring how gender, trauma, oppression, and systemic barriers show up in clinical work
Transparency – clear expectations and collaborative goal setting
Empowerment – strength-based supervision that supports your clinical voice, autonomy, and confidence
A feminist and social justice lens shapes how we approach case conceptualization, countertransference, ethics, and boundaries.
Trauma-informed supervision is not just a philosophy—it’s an active, relational practice grounded in compassion, accountability, and holistic care.
Practical, Skills-Based Clinical Supervision and Consultation
My goal is to help you feel capable, prepared, and confident, especially when working with complex cases. Supervision and consultation may focus on:
Assessment and diagnosis using structured, supportive frameworks
Treatment planning that honors identity and lived experience
Case formulation through systemic, feminist, and trauma-informed lenses
Crisis assessment and safety planning
Ethical decision-making and boundary navigation
Documentation and professional standards
Knowing when to refer, collaborate, or seek additional support
I also offer specialized consultation in couples therapy, immigration mental health evaluations, early childhood and family work, disability-related issues, and complex systemic trauma.
Virtual 1-on-1 Clinical Supervision & Consultation
For clinicians seeking individualized support, virtual 1-on-1 supervision and consultation provides dedicated space to explore:
Case consultation and differential diagnosis
Challenging client dynamics
Professional identity development
Private practice strategies
Ethical concerns and boundary setting
Targeted skill-building in areas of growth
Whether you are pursuing LPC licensure or seeking consultation as a fully licensed clinician, sessions are tailored to your professional goals and clinical needs.
Monthly Virtual Drop-In Supervision & Consultation Group
Our monthly virtual drop-in supervision and consultation group offers an accessible, community-centered option for clinicians who want additional support. This group includes:
Peer connection and shared learning
Mini trainings on documentation, trauma-informed care, ethics, and identity-aware practice
Case discussions and real-time problem solving
A supportive, low-pressure environment
This is an excellent option if you already have a primary supervisor and are seeking additional clinical perspectives and professional community.
Supervision That Honors the Whole Clinician
My supervision work is shaped by my lived experience as a blind therapist, my background in advocacy, and my commitment to accessibility, equity, and social justice.
In supervision, we talk openly about navigating systems, challenging oppressive structures, and staying grounded in your clinical and ethical values.
Clinicians deserve supervision that strengthens their voice rather than shrinking it. You deserve a space where growth, curiosity, and empowerment are centered.
