Hello!

I'm Kimberly Gaona, a Clinical Mental Health Graduate Student Intern offering affordable counseling services to Her Time Therapy Clients under the supervision of Meagan Clark, MA LPC NCC BC-TMH, and Adams State University professors.

You might be detached from the life you want to live and are ready to reconnect with your sense of self again. Perhaps you're struggling to balance your job with your personal life, and most days, you feel overwhelmed, or you are ready to release something that is no longer serving you. If you seek a safe space to talk with someone who will listen without judgment, I am here to help you feel more in control and optimistic about your life.

My Approach to Therapy:

My approach to therapy is rooted in my belief that you are resilient and capable of great things, even when it feels like the odds are against you. Through our work together, you will connect with your true self and find greater alignment with things that matter most to you.

In a safe and compassionate environment, we will explore therapeutic techniques tailored to your unique needs and preferences, paving the way for personal growth and transformation. Whether you’re navigating low self-esteem, anxiety, or stress or are experiencing difficulty in your relationships, I am here to help apply evidence-based counseling strategies designed to help you bring balance and joy back into your life.

My Ideal Client:

My passion is working with high-level professional women who may be struggling with chronic stress, burnout, or relationship issues. I help women experience greater fulfillment by learning how to manage low self-confidence, imposter syndrome, and anxiety.

By addressing these issues and cultivating a greater sense of self-awareness, you will develop the confidence and emotional resilience needed to navigate the complexities of your professional life and personal life more effectively. You have what it takes to face your obstacles and thrive, fostering deeper connections, greater satisfaction, and a renewed sense of purpose in all areas of life.

The Concerns I Specialize in Treating:

Counseling for Relationship Issues

It is challenging to be a woman with big dreams and career goals to achieve those while maintaining healthy relationships with our partners, children, family, friends, and ourselves. Whether you're struggling with communication issues, trust issues, gender-related conflicts, or navigating major life transitions that impact your relationships, I am here to provide you with the support and guidance you need. Let’s work together to strengthen your relationships and build healthier, more fulfilling connections in your life.

My Story:

I live in Castle Rock, CO, with my fiance and our two cats, Josie and Coco. I am passionate about women's mental health because I've personally experienced how working through past trauma and pain is the best way to move forward and build a happier life. I found great empowerment and growth through therapy during significant life changes in the post-pandemic world, and I am eager to help others do the same. I believe our struggles can transform us to come out stronger than before. When I'm not engaging in therapeutic work, my passions are SCUBA diving, skiing, traveling, and cooking.
