My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is entirely collaborative and grounded in how your past experiences and present circumstances shape your current and future responses. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all advice, I focus on helping you unpack the root causes of what is keeping you stuck—whether that is inherited family patterns, low self-esteem, or anxiety. Together, we look at the specific ways these challenges disrupt your life and your relationships, creating a customized roadmap that helps you regain control and feel more securely connected to yourself.

What makes our work unique is that we do not just talk about the hurdles you face; we actively work to change how you experience them. I blend warm, relational support with practical tools to help you navigate life transitions and manage overwhelming stress in real time. By focusing on your inherent inner strength, I empower you to break free from old, exhausting cycles so you can step into a life that feels genuinely authentic and aligned with who you truly are.

My Ideal Client

I love working with individuals who are navigating the heavy weight of anxiety, particularly when it shows up as pressure around performance, relationships, or a constant underlying worry. My passion lies in supporting adults who struggle with low self-esteem, feel stuck in old cycles, or are ready to process past experiences so they can create lasting change. Because healing is a deeply personal process, I bring an authentic, candid presence to our sessions to genuinely support our therapeutic relationship, welcoming the use of humor, art, and metaphors to help you safely unpack inherited patterns, survive overwhelming life transitions, and build a healthier connection with yourself.

The Concerns I Specialize in Treating

Intergenerational & Inherited Family Trauma

I help you unravel the deep, unseen weight of family patterns that quietly shape your current reality. Using a combination of somatic healing techniques to release physically trapped trauma and candid reflection, we safely unpack the root causes of inherited cycles so you can step into an authentic life of your own design.

Performance, Relationship, & Anxiety

Whether your anxiety manifests as crushing pressure to perform, relational stress,, or a constant undercurrent of worry,, we will tackle it together. I weave in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to actively disrupt and reframe unhelpful thought loops, giving you back your sense of control.

Low Self-Esteem & Identity Alignment

If you find yourself asking "why can't I just..." or feel completely detached from who you want to be, I provide an empowering space to rebuild your relationship with yourself. We will work to replace old, exhausting ideas about your worth with lasting self-understanding, helping you live in true alignment with who you are.

Overwhelming Stress & Major Life Transitions

Navigating big life shifts or daily stressors can leave you feeling deeply stuck and constantly replaying scenarios in your head. I bring an authentic, candid presence and utilize Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help you tap into your internal drive, turning overwhelming hurdles into manageable, real-time adjustments.

My Story

I was drawn to counseling by a deep desire to address the lasting impacts of intergenerational trauma, wanting to empower people as they break cycles and create meaningful changes in their lives. I am here to welcome and support you as you strive for deeper alignment with who you truly are, whether you are managing anxiety, navigating life transitions, or working through stress. I act as a collaborative partner to help you handle the moments when you feel stuck or unsure of the next step. I am here to walk alongside you as you meet, explore, and build healthier relationships with yourself and others.

When I’m offline and out of the therapist chair, I’m usually whipping up new recipes, throwing paint on a canvas, getting lost in a good book, or hanging out with my family.
